SEPTIC TANK PUMPING

Septic systems are designed to keep solids in the tank and allow effluent (liquid) to exit through the outlet baffle. When too many solids are in the tank, they can get out to your drain field and clog up the D-Box, lateral lines and soils in the drainfield trench. Lilly’s Septic Service provides highly effective, expert septic tank pumping services. We recommend pumping the septic tank every 3-5 years. This number can vary depending on how many people are in the home, the size of the tank, and what you put down the drain. Wipes are very detrimental to the entire system and should never be flushed. If wipes are flushed then the tank should be pumped more often than the recommended time-frames. Extra charges apply when wipes are found in the tank as King County will fine us when wipes are disposed of at the disposal site.

The Importance of Septic Tank Pumping

A properly maintained septic tank and system should not generate a noticeable smell to the homeowner and residents or pose a danger to human life. It is vital for these systems to operate hygienically and safely. A malfunctioning system can release dangerous elements such as bacteria, nitrogen, and phosphorus into your groundwater, which are hazardous not only for your family but your pets, area water wells, ground water and gardens as well.

Our Septic Tank Pumping Services

We recommend the pumping of your septic tank every 3-5 years. This number can vary depending on how many people are in the home, the size of the tank, and what is put down the drain.

Your Septic Pumping Service appointment will include a general inspection of your system and all components, cleaning baffles and filters and general information of the health of the system overall.

Having your Septic Tank Pumped & cleaned every 3 to 5 years will improve your system’s efficiency and keep it running smoothly. But using a quick “get in and get out” pumping service could spell costly trouble down the road.

We look forward to serving your septic needs and welcoming you to the Lilly’s Septic Service Family

Hydro Jetting & Bottle Brushing

Jetting is sometimes necessary if your drainfield is not properly taking the effluent. It clears the pipe of debris and grease that can build up over several years. If you have a blockage, it can almost always be taken care of with this service. The main line (main pipe from the house to the septic tank) is usually the line needing to be jetted out when it is a back up.

Jetting & Bottle Brushing is one of the major steps to restore flow when the drainfield consists of PVC line.

Bottle Brushing of your Pressure Drainfield lines restores the flow of effluent due to bio film coating the interior of the line.  this is most of the time the culprit of burning op the Effluent pump and may be necessary when a new effluent pump is installed.

Baffle & Filter Installation

The Baffle is an integral part of the septic system and must be in good condition to ensure the life of the septic system.  A filter is a must as well.  We do not want solid material entering the outlet line and flowing down into the d-box or over to your Pump tank.

We install King County approved, excellent quality, long lasting parts and components.

Riser Installation

Installing risers on your septic tank lids is highly recommended. This will alleviate the need to pay our crew to dig up the tank lids every time you have us out to pump the septic tank.

Lilly’s Septic Service offer’s expert installation of King County approved Risers with Locking, sealing, gas tight green PVC lids.

Ask our crew or office about how you can hide those green lids with decorative faux rocks or other types of disguises.

King County requires that an As-Built is submitted with the OSS Inspection paperwork
